Terms and Conditions
In most cases individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and purchasing the product for their own personal use are normally eligible for VAT exemption.
Therefore all our Prices are shown Excluding VAT and you will need to sign a VAT exemption form, we can either send this to you or you can sign one upon collection/ delivery of your product.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods or services zero-rated for VAT you should consult Notice 701/7 Vat reliefs for disabled people on the HMRC website or Contact the National Advice Service on 0845 010 9000.
We offer FREE local delivery on some of our larger products in and around the Leicester area, up to 15 Miles from our premises. There is no charge for collection from our premises, but this is by appointment only - please contact us. Where we charge for delivery, this is a service charge for the actual delivery and therefore is not refundable under any circumstances.
Mobility Scooters are normally delivered by one of our Engineers, they are happy to show you how to operate your new mobility scooter. Upon delivery and if required, you will be asked to sign a VAT Exemption form and a delivery note.
New products are usually supplied with 12 months return to base warranty, at our discretion, in some cases we may arrange for replacement parts or an engineer to visit your premises to resolve any problems. With regards to any second hand or pre-owned items supplied, any warranty period will be stated on your receipt or invoice, if nothing is stated, then the item is purchased ‘sold as seen’ and any warranty period is at our discretion. General wear and tear items like tyres(including punctures) and grips are not covered under warranty. Battery warranty is limited as per any specific manufacturers warranty and is return to base only.
Returns and Refunds:
If you are not happy for any reason or the mobility scooter is not suitable, you are welcome to return it to us within 7 days of purchase, for a refund or exchange. However you are responsible for the safe return of the scooter, it should be in the same condition as it was purchased from us. Please note you are responsible for all the costs involved in returning the scooter, we do not charge any restocking fees. We can arrange collection for you, however this will be chargeable and as with any delivery charges paid, is not refundable.
Whilst we do our best to make sure our customers receive the best service possible, things do go wrong sometimes.
